Carbon Monoxide Leak at Dairy Sends 4 to Winter Haven Hospital (The Lakeland Ledger) Print E-mail

Four Velda Farms employees were taken to Winter Haven Hospital Monday after a carbon monoxide leak at the dairy plant. Winter Haven and Polk County firefighters answered an alarm about 10:25 a.m. at 700 Sixth St. S.W. with 14 units. The county's hazmat team also was called.

Perry Police arresting a suspected Dairy Queen thief. According to Captain Heath Dykes, 32-year old Steven Hunt was arrested after he allegedly entered the Dairy Queen on Courtney Hodges Boulevard...and held the cashier up at gunpoint.
