Four Velda Farms employees were taken to Winter Haven Hospital Monday after a carbon monoxide leak at the dairy plant. Winter Haven and Polk County firefighters answered an alarm about 10:25 a.m. at 700 Sixth St. S.W. with 14 units. The county's hazmat team also was called. |
